Our collection methods can actually retain your customers (The Cashflow Experience)

Our methods retain your customers.

Few industries have the negative connotation that debt collection has. In the past debt collectors were often seen as harassing, even menacing. Thankfully government regulations have made inroads to change the industry for the better. Here at Cashflow that was quite simply not enough. We wanted to do it better and make a difference one call at a time. Our collections staff all have extensive customer service and customer retention experience on their resumes.

The debtors we work with are often times shocked at how well they are treated by our staff.  A benefit of this is we have been able to restore and retain a great deal of these debtors to being customers of the firm that brought them to us in the first place. This is something that neither party expected when the process began.

Our process is three pronged in this area:

First and foremost we treat each debtor with utmost respect.

Secondly we listen to what they tell us on each call.

Third we empathize with them and let them know they are not alone.

These steps have been invaluable in building rapport and helping us repair and rebuild the relationship for our client and get the Cash Flowing back to them. If we can help you get you back in touch with your money don't hesitate to call us at 732-201-3060

How to Handle Excuses from your Clients

You had a deal to perform a service or deliver a product to a client fora mutually agreed upon price. Up to now they have not held up there bargain. So far the excuses and outright lies you have been given range from the check is in the mail to they are away on a once in a lifetime vacation and it slipped their mind. Naturally after you hear the latter you think to yourself it must be nice not to pay your bills and go on a vacation. Later that afternoon while taking your son to practice you run into your client at Wawa. At this point you are angry and insulted and this is affecting your business and perhaps even your home life.

If you have accounts like this your best bet is to get them to a reputable collections firm as soon as possible. Before it becomes personal or time consuming. Make sure when you start the relationship and agree to bill the customer that you have everything in writing and have them sign it. Set an expectation of when payment is due and what you will do to enforce payment, such as late fees and turning them over to your collections firm. Let them know that it's nothing personal but you need to be paid. If they walk out the door because of this, it will let you know they were planning on slow paying you.

The sooner you get account to collections the better chances you have of getting paid. We have advised some of our clients to offer a discount for paying in full upfront. Another idea is to word the contract that if the account goes to collections the client is liable for that fee. If we can be of service to you please let us know.

The Cashflow Conversion Process (CCP): Let me tell you how it works

Not your fathers Collection service.

At Cashflow we know the negative stigma that Collection Agencies have due to the abrasive and shady practices of some who came before us and even some of our competitors. It has always been very important to our business model to do things differently. We listen to our debtors and treat them with respect. This enables us to get our client the payment they need, as well as getting the debtor where they want to be... Free of the debt.

To that end when a debtor with us has finished his or her obligation to our clients we have converted many of them into credit counseling customers. There is no greater satisfaction for us to see the transformation of an overwhelmed person over their head in debt, gradually become a confident productive member of the economy again. Our cutting edge plan gets these individuals on the right path to financial independence and a good credit score. This would not be possible if we were abrasive, abusive or harassing in our collection methods. It's not always the easiest way to do things but at Cashflow it is the only way.

Changing the landscape of Debt Collections.. One call at a Time.

The tale of the small business owner

We hear this story more and more lately. A small business owner performed a job or service and the client does not hold up their end of the bargain. The feelings the business owner has range from betrayal to rage. The situation either consumes them in their attempt to get paid, or the exact opposite they simply push it aside and move on.  As a small business owner you cant afford to do either one. As the owner of a business you have a lot more important things on your plate than to chase debt and let the feelings poison other aspects of your business and personal life. On the other hand you also can't afford to chalk this up to a loss and a lesson learned. Most small business don't realize that they can refer these matters out to a collections agency. They figure collections are for the big guys such as major medical  or financial firms. Suitable collection cases can come from anyone from a landscaper to a catering hall to beach club dues and anything in between. According to the EWeek(Enterprise IT News) the average small business spends about 2 working days focused on manually invoicing their clients and other collecting procedures. Currently small business owners are focusing on collecting on their unpaid invoices rather than focusing on what they do best.

Often times it just takes knowing that they are in collections to get the client to write  the check. It is not always that easy however. Sometimes the debtor has no ability to pay in full.  A good agency takes the emotion out of the equation and with great listening, fact finding and a lot of empathy to both sides involved more often than not are able to either to get a settlement or good payment plan in place. What sets Cashflow apart from our competitors is our ability to get our clients paid and treat our debtors with respect which often retains the customer for our client. That is a win win situation. Give us a call or visit us on the web.  Stop leaving money on the table.

More and more business owners are coming to the realization that they can no longer afford not to at least consider strongly outsourcing their Accounts receivables department. Billing is one of the most important functions of any small to midsize business yet often it gets neglected or put on the back burner because the owner or key person charged with the duty is involved in something else. Some business have come to the conclusion that they are paying a considerable salary and benefits for a person just to perform this function when they can hire a firm to do this for them for a fraction of that cost. This is simply leaving money on the table for your business. Isn't the idea to work harder not smarter?
By hiring a company that specializes in receivables management business owners can expect the following benefits:

A streamlined systematic approach billing.
More timely payments.
